ULLA ultra low level TDCR Liquid Scintillation Counter

Ultra low background automatic TDCR liquid scintillation counter for detection of low levels of beta and alpha radiation. Hidex ULLA is designed to meet even the most demanding needs in LSC applications such as H-3 in hydrogeology, detection of biogenic carbon content of materials, C-14 dating, or measurement of trace concentrations of alpha and beta isotopes in soil, food, drinking water and nuclear waste. Hidex ULLA combines conventional passive Pb shield and active guard to decrease the background count rate with triple-PMT technology to support triple-todouble coincidence TDCR counting. Temperature control (cooling) and modern VALO user-friendly software designed specifically for Hidex automatic counters are included in all deliveries. The detector is equipped with a gas inlet facilitating flushing of the measurement chamber e.g. for removing Rn-gas often present in underground laboratories. Quench correction by external standard method using Eu-152 standard source and high-resolution 3-dimensional alpha/beta separation electronics are available as optional features.
